An endless cycle from air, to land, to sea, to air once again, Invisible to the eye, but always constant. There’s something magical about using rainwater from the Jurassic Dorset Coastline in my work. The land here is filled with ancient fossils, millions of years old. Rainwater filters down through the rock, returning to the sky. Using rainwater in my painting’s, help capture the history of the Earth long forgotten. Fossilised thoughts on paper.
Working in this way allows for a deeper connection with the Earth, bringing the outdoors into your living space."
