I’ve been visiting sacred sites and the Jurassic coast all month, Intergrating the lessons from the land, the black earth, the lost secrets of history fossilised, a sense of nostalgia, surfing the last sunset sessions in my hometown, absorbing the aura, beauty and energy of my coastline the sea and her rookpools. The slate and layers of sediment in the cliff walls, we saw so many fossils, so many souls lost in time. Riding waves in the last of the autumn heat reading and recording aura after aura.

In a few weeks we travel to an island of the coast of North Africa to live in harmony with the volcanic land. Exploring geology and geography, climate. Film photography has come back into my life and surfing after a break. Making travel journal again. Huge release in the sea, waiting for the waves, walking the line and sliding in the white wash. Like visiting an old friend. Our studio build is nearly complete. Burying roots further into our home. A place open to creation and a workshop to help us convert our electric van. Van life returns. I have missed it. So much abundance. So much to be thankful for. All and every moment pouring back into my Earth Aura Art which will be a bigger part of myself and this platform soon. Every experience Ever grateful for the lessons I’m learning in life and harmony with Earth. Also discovering I have Synesthesia. A condition where the senses crossover and understanding on a deeper level the meaning of how I feel and see in colour, hear energy through sound frequency and aura. Gently uncovering this and learning more about myself and my arrival in my work. Aura was always meant for me. Energy is everything. Everything is energy |
FEELING IN AURA .:. October 20th

I feel in aura, colour and hear the frequency of energy. I see numbers, letters and words with colours too. Everything has energy and aura in the world that I exist in. I have Synesthesia. This is where two or more senses crossover and begin to blend at the same time. This enables me to feel more deeply in design, energy, aura, intuition and pattern.
My moments in nature have the highest reflection of this condition. It began in Maui by the river, under the tall green jungle covered mountains. The sun was high, the air was warm. Then it began to rain. In the arms of the Mother, I watched the waterfalls in the valley run past the red rock in the river and dash over the pebbles. I painted this moment in nature months later. I painted the mountains, the light, the sun, the rainforest, the sky, the rock and the river. It wasn't enough. So I painted a closed loop, a circle, a captured consciousness. A sacred circle. |
Infinitely binding it on the canvas forever. That circle had more connection and meaning than any other element on the canvas. This was the birth of the sacred circle. A union of the elements. Now three years on, they hang in the hotels and homes of many. Bringing the outdoors in, reconnecting us to the elements, Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Spirit.
