Following a Pinterest post I made after experimenting with a new app feature, I was truly blessed to contacted by Pinterest UK. They explained that they loved what I created and soon after that I became an official Pinterest UK creator.
Now, I do hear you asking what does this mean?
This is when someone creates exceptional work that’s recognised by the Pinterest UK team and is invited to exclusive events as well as trial new features on Pinterest before they are released.
I was lucky enough to be invited to the Pinterest home of inspiration event in London at Ennismore Sessions House. Pinching myself, I made my way up to London to join a number of influences, brands and leading entrepreneurs to discuss using Pinterest in business.
We were invited to a number of talks in a beautiful building discussing current trends, future app features and how to grow your your audience in your business!
We ate vegan eats and marshmallow piña coladas! Check them out below. But what was most rewarding (not to say the treats weren’t good too!) was what I learnt as a Pinterest Creator in business!
Take a tour of the Pinterest Home of Inspiration event with me below.

Raging wild Rivers. Waterfalls that appear from the sky. A tiny family of fish swimming upstream. Hanalei beach.
Driftwood surf shacks made up on the beach. Coconut trees seeding in the sand. Coral, and washed up sea beans from the Amazon laying in the sand. Barefoot climbing up the tree that hangs over the river mouth. I watch in awe and envy as the children from the Hanalei school finish class, run down the beach barefoot climb up the tree and jump in straight In the river from the mountains.
What a life. What a contrast from the outside world beyond what Hawaiians know as the Garden Island of Kauai. Razor sharp coral reef in the water negotiates where we swim.
Pockets of cold water flash past that come from the river mouth and then a wave of warmth from the Pacific Ocean relieves in from the cold. We spent hours here and time was our friend. Alone, quiet with reflection but most of all a deep rooted connection with nature. I could spend all day here getting back to myself and getting back to nature.
