B Y A W I L D R O S E . . . .
Channel changing in on a Saturday night after a not so good movie, to the point where I was basically falling asleep. I peeled myself off the extremely warm sofa, red eyed from the hay fever and tired from our wild river sup boarding all day.
Trudging to the window I caught a glimmer of a peach sky. Oh yes, tonight was going to be a beautiful sunset.
We were straight up, in the car down to the beach trying to beat sunset with minutes to spare. The Sun will set every night you just have to be there to see it.
I love how spontaneity can change in moments and memories in time. I made a spontaneous move to head out the door with my boy. My fiance and I had a lovely evening watching day turn into night and watching the world go by. It was so breathtaking people were pulling up in the cars just to take in the awe-inspiring view that the sky in Mother Earth painted for us that evening.
I wanted to shut my eyes and meditate listening to the sea with the sunset fixed in my mind but closing my eyes in that moment was just simply not possible because I couldn’t take my eyes off the sky. Here’s to spontaneity, finding your light, love, Mother Nature and forever chasing sunsets.....
