Derived from the Ocean Blues Beach Blanket, I decided to expand on this idea and go wilder, bigger and roam further. The Oahu Roam Blanket is larger and makes a stunning edition to your wild outdoor adventures. Lightweight, fast drying and versatile, this is first and foremost and outdoor dry weather picnic blanket.
Catch some shade and make a large beach shelter to find refuge from that summer sun. Style into a tipi and take playtime everywhere you go, or simply wine and dine with the your loved one and take a seat and watch the sunset.
Hand made and dyed using the Japanese technique of Shibori. Each blanket is made with natural muslin cotton, dyed in a rich navy blue and finished with a pom pom black trim.
I think I will be pinching myself until the day I stand on the islands, but the next travel destination is one I am super excited about. After years of saving, years of waiting I can finally say - I am going to Hawaii.
We are headed of to the Island's of Hawaii for one month to really live and experience Hawaiian life. For many years, ever since my first viewing of Blue Crush (come on we have all seen it) I have wanted to go to Hawaii. That was when I really discovered Hawaii, this secret paradise that I had never really heard of. Suddenly, Hawaii was on the map. Being raised from a family born in the West Indies, tropical sea water runs through my veins and my love of surfing has meant that this part of the world has always been somehwere I have wanted to go more and more year after year.
We plan to island hop and explore some the well known go to shops and surf spots as well as discover our own secret spots and magical places across three islands, Oahu, Big Island and Maui, ending our trip with an afternoon in LA.
I can't wait to have my first Haliewai bowl and sit on the beaches of the North Shore, hang outside of the Billabong house, maybe I will some famous instagram faces over there too. One thing is for sure I will be recording this increbile trip every step of the way. See it first on here and via my instagram @roseeadsdesign.
Have YOU been? Where do you recommend? Is there somewhere we must see? Comment below. I would love to know. Now, if you will excuse me, I will just get back to pinching myself now...... pinch..... pinch........... camera's at the ready.

Collage : March
Snow is like dangerous, silent magic that falls with not even a whisper. It can completely shift the appearance of your surroundings in a matter of minutes and is a reminder, that appearances are hidden. Not all that you see is on the surface.

Each month I'll be making a collage of moments in time. This the first one and I would love to know your thoughts on it.
Meet The Maker
Some of you may be checking back to this blog every now and again and some of you may be here for the first time. If so hello! I heard about this March Meet The Maker and I decided to do it. So here are a few things about me.......
I hope you found that interesting. If you want to know anything else comment below! Tell me about yourself!
Being predominently and image maker, I have decided to start a monthly journal, made up of images presented in a collage. This the start of my first one. Check back to see my first collage at the end of March.
The fist blue skies after the coldest weather the UK has ever had. Needless to say I was grateful to see the blue skies again. Photo taken by my local beach. Below are a group of shells collected after a big storm. I made this into a beach keepsake and put them in a box frame.
Little licks at the beach.
In love with the picture below. The sharp contrast, textures and colours are beautiful on this plant. This would make one hell of an Autumn colour palette.
