I was looking at my tea in its oversized box, in its individual sachet, in the bleached tea bag thinking about the Earth rainforests being cut down for this tiny taste of tea and then being thrown away. Did you know that 80% of the products made today are thrown away after one use? Going naked from unnecessary packaging is tricky. Making efforts to reduce the packaging with a purchase is possible.
So I switched to grabbing some naked tea from an incredible tea shop I stumbled on. New tea calls for a tea ceremony outside in the afternoon soft golden light with my sweet little whippet.
And when tea looks like this how can I resist? Deep with the scent of orange, blackberry, sunflower, hibiscus and lemon balm - maybe my favorite tea to date. My eyes and stomach have two different opinions but eating all natural is what works for best for me - that goes for drinking too.
Ever looked at a packet of tea and seen 'natural flavouring' on the back under ingredients? What are they? - something that the manufacturers can't seem be honest about on the packet. Going natural and naked in the food world is the way to go. Naked from packaging if you can, or at least reducing how much you use and buy - hence the natural and almost naked tea I have here. Good for all and everything.
